What is perfection... my friend's saying goes.. "If practice makes perfect & nobody is perfect so why do we need to practise?" This is simple yet it rings so true..
Perfect seems to be a continuous strive... an ongoing reach for the best.. but yet beauty is in the eyes of the beholder... what is beautiful to me may not be beautiful for u.. some of us are best with our flaws.. some flaws are on the other hand best dealed away with.. or how about being too perfect? Is that a sin in itself? so how can we be the "perfect" one.. Sometimes things are not within out control.. we can wait for the perfect timing, the perfect place, the perfect person to have the perfect outcome.. you always have to have something more.. something better.. yet when u have it, when you experience it, it is never good enough or how you thought it would be....
Yet we are only given one chance to live each moment in our life.. one chance to make a score at a game.. one chance to do well in our exams... yes we can try again but it will never be the same, we all hate to be repeaters.. ain't that rite? We have one chance to make it right.. and if opportunities knocks.. we have one chance to go for it.. once it's over, we ask ourselves why? what went wrong? what i shoulda, woulda, coulda done... Then it would be trying to remake history.. but what's wrong in that! In midst of my conflict of perfection and imperfection.. i would like to conclude it this way..
Idealism in our not so ideal world, is there such a thing? To be ideal, to be perfect.. the thought that some things are just right. This is the pursuit of the perfectionism.. in his or her perfectionistic nonsense.. however we are all made human. Human are imperfect beings, each with with our own flaws. The sanity of such is that we do not drive ourselves overboard.. that we have acceptance of room for errors, for misgivings. Perhaps this is also why we need love to accommodate each other.. haha.. Well, i don't really give a damn for this perfectionist shit! Yes i agree we do drive ourselves for improvements but we shld adjust for shortcomings & variances. Nevertheless, we should spread some love around.. who are we that we shld judge others anyway....
Perfectionism is a dangerous state of mind in an imperfect world. - Robert Hillyer

But watever it is, it's good to know that God loves and accepts us, with our our imperfections and all:)
