~* Thursday, May 12, 2005 *~ It is fucking 1:50am in the morning & i cannot get to sleep... It is so frustrating.. I've been lying in best for more than an hour.. i give up.. got up turn on the lights and my computer to investigate... and concluded the following: I have either one of the following: Sleep Onset Insomnia (Delayed Sleep Phase Syndrome): A disorder in which the major sleep episode is delayed in relation to the desired clock time that results in symptoms of sleep onset insomnia or difficulty in awakening at the desired time. Psychophysiological Insomnia: A disorder of somatized tension (conversion of anxiety into physical symptoms) and learned sleep-preventing association that results in a complaint of insomnia and associated decreased functioning during wakefulness. Transient Insomnia (Adjustment Sleep Disorder): Represents sleep disturbance temporally related to acute stress, conflict or enviornmental change causing emotional agitation. Periodic Insomnia (Non 24-Hour Sleep-Wake Syndrome): Consists of a chronic (lasting a long time) steady pattern consisting of 1-2 hour daily delays in sleep onset and wake times in an individual living in society. Don't Watch TV or Read Before Going to Bed : come on.. i leave the TV on even when i sleep! Toe Wiggling : This is plain dumb.. i dun even wanna try it.. Tsk! Stomach Rub : This one helps weight loss!! Maybe i shld try it.. but i'm dunno to get body oil.. Progressive Relaxation : My goodness.. this is too wordy for me to even read.. Deep Breathing : Yes i do breathe deeply when i sleep.. i may even snore.. haha Visualize Something Peaceful : Yup tries.. doesn't work Visualize Something Boring : Yes i stared into black space for a while.. and still awakeImagine It's Time to Get Up : Yes that's why i'm up! Quiet Ears : With my TV off and all dark and quiet i still cannot sleep?!?! If all esle fails If You Can't Sleep, Get Up So far this is the best.. which is what i'm doing! how am i gonna wake up later at 4:30am to get to work by 5:30am.. btw, i'm gonna be giving out free caps for Jetstar Asia to promote their flights to Medan... i like doing such events jobs.. really fun way to meet pple, expose myself to other nationalities esp at the airport.. it just doesn't feel like a job! |

Ha~ I'm having the same problem too for the past few days! Woke up yesterday at 2.30am to close my window cos of the rain and couldn't sleep after that.. irritating.. so tired yet I can't fall asleep.. argh! I need sleep quality sleep!
