Whines.. moans.. complains or laments
About work, love, play & life
We're all standing amidst our
Quaterlife....

Expectations paced against the stresses
of everyday livin'
Choices spatter our decision plates
of insatiable appetite....

We want, we need, we think we deserve it
all at the mercy of one another...
As we tread lightly on shallow waters...

A strain of dispair, discouragement & disappointment
stains our clear white pillar of confidence
As we fight each step of growth of advancement

We cling to necessity to work, to strive
for that one single dream of
5 Cs, balanced life and wholesome family

Nothin's Gd Enuff...
as daily toil erodes
the already faded future of
what we intend to be...

My friends all we have
is to count on each other to
make each day a little
brighter & more liveable..

As we find meaning in this existence
of passing this phrase of uncertainty
Cos we're never alone...
Just woven together in our hearts
by this bond...

Walking hand in hand
down the yellow brick road...
